Buyer Reviews : After reading the other posts, I reconfirmed that this adapter will work on all digital Olympus filmless cameras that use 4 AA batteries (including the C-3040). On most of my electronic do-dads I make my own power supplies using various equipment lying around (I do electronics for a living), but when you're plunking down several hundred dollars for a good camera, it's wise to play it safe and use only what the manufacturer recommends.
