Buyer Reviews :
Some might believe this gadget is just heavy plastic and would produce very bad photos.

I bought this camera by pure curiosity. My use spanned from January 2000 to October 2000. I recently received my photos by mail.

The photos were not bad. From this experience, I have come up with some criteria for 3D photography:

1. You must REALLY be selective about what you are going to shoot. Not all situations warrant the 3D feature. Taking pictures of an on-stage show is NOT a good idea. The only thing that will appear 3D will be the other spectator. The show itself will remain 'static', like background. Other times, subjects and the surrounding do not have enough 'depth' to strike out. Taking photos of subject leaning against the wall will do no good. Family pictures are tolerable, if there are positioned in an oblique way, instead of the usual row fashion. In other words, do not rely on the 3D camera for the usual camera shots.

2. This camera is much more effective at close range. 3D perception is much more enhanced when taking subjects nearby. I took one with my girlfriend in a coffee shop. Chairs, tables and she really popped out in 3D in the final product. Maybe one of the reasons why you will not find any models of 3D cameras equipped with a zoom!

3. I think the film in the disposable camera is ISO100. So, don't try it unless under enough light.

4. Sharpness is NOT one of the camera's forte! Remember those 3D pictures on stickers or mouse pads? Not really sharp, eh? Same thing here. If you wish to take pictures of memorable moments, please use an ordinary camera! You might just regret the lack of sharpness.

5. Careful when holding the camera! There are 3 objectives on this thing. A misplaced finger will ruin the whole shot. When experimenting on how to take a shot, I realize that it is quite easy to put the middle finger of either hand on one of the objective. Again, careful.

6. The camera can only be used in one position: horizontal. 3D images are taken like that. Once developed, the photos appear as if you have taken the pictures sideways. Yup! You take your photos with the camera in the horizontal position; you get your pictures as if you have held your camera sideways. That is why the viewfinder is narrower in width than in height (as opposed to the usual 'width greater than height' format in ordinary cameras)

So, it is a fun gadget. But the keyword here is 'fun'. It is not meant to be use as an ordinary camera!!
