Canon's consumer-oriented A10 digital camera is a great 1.2-megapixel point-and-shoot. The 3x optical zoom lens includes an aspherical element to help reduce distortion and provide clarity. The built-in flash provides red-eye reduction, fill, night, auto, and off modes. While aimed at the consumer crowd, the A10 also features exposure compensation controls between +/- 2 EV in one-third increments. Additionally, there are several white-balance settings to choose from to help in most shooting situations.
Canon's CP-10 is a dye-sub photo printer that connects directly to Canon's digital cameras. It develops small photographs in seconds using your compatible PowerShot A10 (it also works with Digital IXUS 300, PowerShot A20, S110, or S300). The CP-10 produces 24-bit color prints at 300 x 300 dpi, and up to 3.4 by 2.1 inches in size. Through an easy cable connection to the camera, you first select your image from the print menu, and then print it in less than a minute. Choose borderless prints, bordered prints, or label sheets. Canon supplies proprietary paper and label sheets for the CP-10, which finishes photos with a scratch- and fade-resistant overcoat. The CP-10's transparent case lets you (and your family or kids) watch as your prints develop.
Buyer Reviews : The canon powershot A10 is an amazing camera for the price. It has features that the more expensive cameras have, but is one of the most user-friendly digitals I have used. A plus for this camera is that it uses common AA bateries. You can take about 200 pictures before replacing the batteries. This is the perfect camera to make the analog to digital jump. This camera also comes with some very handy software. With the included printer this is a must have for any level shutterbug!!!!
